At least, until you open the grated door to the next area. Hop the gaps and look for this small hole in the wall if you duck inside, enemies will be unable to follow. You should have multiple holes dropping you back down to the enemy infested level below. Once the enemy runs off, you can take the ammo without incident.Īt the end of the hallway, there is a staircase going up to the next level. Locate this restroom in the middle of the first level you can try to grab the ammo in the hole for a good scare, but you can avoid the event entirely by going around the break in the wall. If you must fight, empty the shotgun or military rounds in the face of the enemy. You can keep most of the Librarians off balance by quickly rounding a tight corner. Go through the first level quickly if you see a wooden door, try to break it down, and keep moving. If you need to, use a sticky bomb on the door to clear it quickly (be sure to run away and evade the enemies while you wait for the fuse to burn up). You don't want to spend ammo needlessly unless one of them really gets in your way.Įquip the knife (fastest melee) and look for doors you can push or break down. If you want to accomplish the achievement Heavy Reader (kill a Librarian), you can do here and then reload the game to get your ammo back.
Avoiding the enemies here is the key to getting out alive.
